Policy 5005 states that: “Catholic elementary schools follow the local public schools for delayed openings, early dismissals, or closing of school due to inclement weather or local emergency.”  Therefore, if Trumbull Public Schools are delayed, we have a delay. If Trumbull Public Schools close, we are closed.

However, last year this policy was amended  to include that:  if a school has a scheduled half-day planned for professional development and the local public school delays the morning opening of schools, the Catholic school will not open that day.

A 90 minute delay for Saint Theresa School means that
school begins at 10:10am for Grades K-8 and 10:30 for Full Day Pre-K. In the event of a delay, there is no AM Pre-K. 

The Before School Program will begin at 9:00am for students in Grades Pre-K-8.
